Wagging Work was built to scratch an itch. Moriah, of Furry Kids Pet Sitting & Dog Walking, was organized enough but entering stuff into Excel spreadsheets, tracking receipts and trying to manually add up her mileage was becoming painful, especially at tax time.

Fortunately, Daniel saw her growing pains and built a web application to try and lighten her load so she could focus on what she loved, pet sitting. So Wagging Work was born.

We build this site using Django, an open source web framework built on Python. It's served using the Apache web server and the mod_python plugin. For the database, we make use of SQLite. We run our website on Dreamhost.

All web pages are valid XHTML 1.0 Strict, valid CSS, accessible and Section 508 compliant. All pages should render equally well under all browsers, though we recommend Firefox for the best experience.
